Common Defence Services

The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) is a standardised test conducted annually by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment of officer cadets in the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Air Force Academy, and Officers Training Academy.

ARMY
Qualification : Graduation from any recognized university

AIR FORCE
Degree of a recognized university (with physics & Mathematics at 10 & +2 level (or) Bachelor of Engineering)

NAVY
Degree in Engineering from a recognized university

ODA EXAM
Age 20 to 25 years (at the time of commencement of course)

Qualification
Graduation (appeared or appearing / passed in any stream)
